The International Society for the Advancement of Medical Retina was founded in 2014. The purpose of the organization is to gather a small group of specialists with a keen interest in medical retina in order to contribute to the learning and advancement of the field. We meet annually during The American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting. During the annual meetings, each member presents unique and challenging medical retina cases, followed by discussion among the members. Further discussion regarding issues within the practice of medical retina follows.
The International Society for the Advancement of Medical Retina is a nonprofit organization.
